Ok so you’ve got this far!

You can see here the “General” Help Note type which is the only type that is publicly viewable by the world[ref]Effectively General Help Notes are the same as the standard Post type, but just another case. By the way this foot note has been created by the ‘Simple Footnotes’ plugin writen by Andrew Nacin[/ref].  The content here can be anything that you can do normally within your post edit sessions…

To see private General Notes or any other Help Note Types, for specific roles, you would need to log into the site and have new roles assigned to you.
